The application is a single page, and all of it is checked before a verification code is sent, so having these to hand makes it one sitting. What you type is saved in your own browser as you go, so you can leave the page and come back to it.
Certificates and mark sheets are not uploaded with the application. Candidates called to the campus round bring them in original.
A computer-based written test is held on 11 October 2026, taken remotely under proctoring, lasting two hours. Part A is a cognitive abilities test common to everyone. Part B is a subject paper: quantitative and data interpretation for Associates and Research Associates, policy and scheme analysis for Senior Associates, and field ethics and judgement for the Project Manager.
Candidates are shortlisted at a ratio of 1:10 on 13 October and called to IIM Mumbai on 22 or 23 October for an offline test, a group discussion and a panel interview. Offers are issued on 24 October and joining is on 5 November 2026.
The written test is a single sitting with one subject paper for each category. A candidate may apply for one position only.
